We have recently refaced this kitchen in East Kilbride, Glasgow. Doors, worktops and tiles were replaced, giving the kitchen a fresh new look. Our customer has chosen light colour doors and a bold sophisticated Butcher Block worktop. A classic light-dark combination works perfectly with any kitchen size and will probably never go out of date.
Timeless shaker style doors were chosen in a Melham Ivory colour. While white will probably always be one of the most popular colours for the kitchen doors, warmer light tones like vanilla, cream, light beige or ivory are becoming more and more desirable. If you want to keep your kitchen luminous and warm at the same time, this could be a perfect option for you. Your kitchen will always look welcoming with light coloured shades.
As for the worktop, Wenge Butcher Block was installed. Wenge wood is medium brown, with a reddish hue. Wood effect worktops give any kitchen an excellent touch and offers the same premium look as solid wood worktops. In addition, laminate wood worktops are more affordable than the solid wood ones, and are very easy to maintain. And they look stunning!
The kitchen was finished with Vilar Metro Blanco tiling. White Metro Wall Tiles manage to create a look that is both modern and classic. They look great giving the kitchen a nice shine and from a practical perspective are really easy to clean and look after. Reface Scotland suggest using a grey grout in order to draw them out.
