Contemporary and Trendy
A huge trend this year has been the use of concrete as an interior design choice. This trend has taken over the whole house from floors to walls to décor and most importantly what we’ll be looking at today, kitchen units. Create a timeless and textured look with beautiful and impactful concrete effect kitchen doors.
Concrete is great for contemporary styled kitchens like this one, these concrete accent doors paired with the neutral-toned flooring adds warmth and a calming vibe to the room toning down the industrial look of the doors. The doors are paired with an Egger 25mm Black Gold Metal Slate worktop and a Black Granite sink to add to the sleek, contemporary look of the rest of the kitchen, perfectly complementing the warmth coming off the flooring.
This kitchen utilises integrated appliances and a custom built-in wine rack to save space and to add to the aesthetic and functionality of the kitchen. Calming and Cosy Neutrals
Grey is the shade of the moment when it comes to choosing what colour to go for in your kitchen. It is a neutral colour and a great base for any style or kitchen. Grey has a reputation for being too cold, but if you mix it with some wood you can make your kitchen get that ultimate warm and cosy look. This kitchen combines Matt Dust Grey doors with textured Grey Bardolino Oak worktops creating an understated air of sophistication and style. A great match for a grey colour palette is brushed chrome and stainless steel finishings as they complement and enhance the colours in the room. This kitchen utilises barely there modern Noma Profile Handles to create a seamless look.
This kitchen has a streamlined utility area providing extra storage and space extended onto the kitchen. If you have a utility area or room then we can streamline this to include bespoke shelving, tall cabinets, built-in appliances, and a sink and tap to wash off all the dirt and mud brought in from outside.
Light and Bright
Just by refacing your doors and worktops you can completely change and brighten up your kitchen. Shaker style kitchens like this one are beautiful in their simplicity. They are incredibly versatile and are suited to almost any taste which is why they are so popular. This kitchens shaker-style white doors contrast perfectly with the textured Cascina Pine worktops. The white doors open up the kitchen and the pine worktops add warmth and enhance the space.
The classic statement polished chrome pull handles are simple and sleek in design. With bold straight lines, they are perfect for a minimalist design like this one. The handles tie in perfectly with the sink and oven, creating a clean and modern look overall. To finish off, this kitchen has under cabinet lighting adding mood and sophistication to the kitchen. When planning your kitchen think about what happens in each part of the kitchen. Some spaces, such as food preparation zones, the sink, and the hob require task lighting, and others that are used for socialising and eating call for statement lighting.
Pop of Colour
Contrasting colours are a great way to add depth and individual style to your kitchen. Don’t be afraid to use both dark and light colours in your kitchen! When you mix contrasting colours, the great thing is no matter what you do, you end up highlighting both colours. This kitchen manages to be sophisticated and bright in the same space.
