Embrace Sustainable Kitchen Solutions with Reface Scotland
In today’s world, we’re constantly reminded of the importance of protecting the environment and reducing waste to combat climate change. At Reface Scotland, we’re committed to sustainability by offering an eco-friendly alternative to replacing entire kitchens. Why throw away perfectly usable kitchen units when refacing can give you the fresh look you desire—without the waste?
How Reface Scotland Can Help You Go Green
By choosing to reface your kitchen instead of replacing it, you significantly reduce the waste sent to landfill. With new door fronts, drawer fronts, and worktops, you can achieve a stunning transformation without the need for a full renovation. In many cases, you can even keep your existing tiles and flooring, saving both time and money, while avoiding unnecessary hassle.
Before you opt for a full kitchen replacement, consider what can be reused. When designing your space, we strive to incorporate as much of your existing kitchen as possible, blending sustainability with style.
Refacing your kitchen doesn’t just cut down on waste—it allows you to take part in the fight against global warming. Plus, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’ve made a more eco-conscious choice.
At Reface Scotland, we take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously, ensuring that our practices align with a greener future.
Sustainable Kitchens and Bedrooms: Our Practices
At Reface Scotland, our top priority is manufacturing and supplying made-to-measure doors for kitchens, bedrooms and even bathroom cabinets. We are equally committed to ensuring our products are crafted from sustainable materials, are responsibly sourced, and are produced in an environmentally friendly manner.
When designing and manufacturing kitchens and bedrooms for our customers, we take great care to minimize our environmental impact. By reusing as much existing cabinetry as possible, we reduce waste, conserve energy, and avoid unnecessary production. When it is necessary to use new materials, we ensure they come from sustainable sources and are produced responsibly.
Sustainable Kitchens and Bedrooms: Sourcing
We are dedicated to using raw materials that are sustainably sourced from PEFC and FSC accredited forests. Our boards are 100% recyclable and carbon negative, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.
We proudly partner with Egger, one of the UK’s leading users of recycled wood in the kitchen and bedroom industry. Egger chipboard, our primary source of raw materials, is made from 40% recycled wood. Find out more about Egger.
Additionally, all our wood is sourced locally with a focus on the future of forestry. We use only environmentally friendly PUR glue in our edging process to further reduce our ecological footprint.
Our Commitment to sustainability
“We are continuously looking for ways to improve our environmental performance. We are provided with clear reporting that shows our recycling levels and where our waste is going to ensure we are meeting all current environmental legislation”
Alan Bow, Director, Reface Scotland
