As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we want to reflect on our journey and express our deepest gratitude to our loyal customers and dedicated team who have made this possible.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from our team and customers who have helped us grow from a two-person operation into a full-service kitchen and bedroom manufacturer. From planning and design to supply and installation, these stories will showcase the journey that has shaped our business.
Our Story
Reface’s journey began in a tiny unit on Rutherglen’s Queen Street, a space so small it could barely fit a single kitchen display. Yet, within this cozy setting, inspiration struck, giving rise to the innovative concept of replacement doors!
Originally named “The Replacement Door Company,” our small team of two, embarked on a grassroots marketing campaign. Armed with flyers, they traversed neighbourhoods, door-to-door, forging connections with prospective customers and local suppliers.
As the business grew and the opportunity to rent a larger space arose, Reface moved into its current headquarters in Rutherglen in 1991.
As of 2024, we’re thrilled to have two showrooms, one in Hillington and one in Rutherglen, plus our own production facility right at our Rutherglen branch. We’ve steadily grown our business over the years while keeping our family-run values at the heart of everything we do.
